Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at korebeliefs.com and any goods sold under the Kore Beliefs name (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Victoria Bowman, a sole proprietor doing business as Kore Beliefs ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Use of the Site

You may access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works of any text, photograph, illustration, or other content on the Site without our prior written permission. All content remains the property of Victoria Bowman or its respective licensors.

3. Orders and payment

Orders are placed and paid for through Ko-fi (operated by Ko-fi Labs Ltd.) and are subject to Ko-fi's terms of service. All prices on the Site are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and exclude any applicable sales tax, duties, and shipping charges, which are calculated at checkout on Ko-fi.

4. Shipping

Orders ship from the United States, typically within five (5) business days of receipt. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, or events outside our reasonable control. International buyers are solely responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges levied by the destination country.

5. Returns and refunds

Damaged in transit. If a simmer pot or other physical good arrives damaged, contact us with photographic evidence within fourteen (14) days of delivery and we will, at our option, replace the item or issue a refund.

Books. Books are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Custom and personalised items. Items made or personalised to order are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Digital goods. eBooks and other digital downloads are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered.

6. Product safety — simmer pots

Simmer pots are intended for use only on a stovetop in a saucepan filled with water. Do not consume the contents. Do not heat in a dry pan, in a microwave, or over an open flame. Keep simmering pots within sight at all times and away from children and pets. You assume all risk associated with misuse of the product.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VICTORIA BOWMAN OR KORE BELIEFS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Victoria Bowman, doing business as Kore Beliefs, from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services or products.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which the owner resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that State, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Changes

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site. Your continued use of the Services after such posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
